First thing I saw when I came home from work was the box I knew had to have the flute in.

"Quiet Bear...the Oregon Myrtle C with the lightly beaver chewed block sends melody into the early morning quiet (6.30 am) here in the brother's chapel...notes to welcome the minutes of union in prayer and silence...The turquoise cross and the Psalm 150 quote have set this beautiful flute apart for a sacred service...I hold it gently, reverence the cross and let my breath warm a fresh melody each morning...and remembering, I smile.

But I'm going to tell you what's the truth, Quiet Bear - I have some very nice flutes in my collection, a few concert tuned, some gorgeous instruments. I do not like the sounds of any of them as much as I do these that start out in your shop. I am SO taken with them! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your fine work, and service!

I recently ordered the B-flat ( think it's the B flat/A# that Jonny speaks of) - at any rate, it is just gorgeous! I've already gotten the body mostly like I like it, still trying to figure out what to do with the block, but I'm sure something will come to me. I wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying this! The sound quality rivals flutes in which I have spent a considerably great amount. I am VERY impressed!

Just wanted to let you know that I play that Alaskan Yellow Cedar Bb/A# all the time, I really love that flute! The song I recorded with it, "Got No Worry" has gotten so much attention and is always requested at shows! So, thank you for that flute, it had a couple song within it! Hopefully there will be many more to follow.
